Welcome to JDA Synergy!

Here you are looking for dance classes for your child or yourself and you have come to the right spot!

We have a bunch of classes with different commitment levels to meet most needs!

At JDA Synergy we know not every studio or program is right for everyone.

So we want you to have all the info before joining the JDA Team.  Nothing is left to the imagination.

Even when it's A LOT of information; we want you to know you are joining the right team.

Here's some basic info to get you started :)

Classes run September to May, with dancers performing on stage during the last weeks of class.

JD’s Academy chooses costuming appropriate for the choreography and age of dancers.

The Dancers then purchase costuming from JD’s Academy. This is all included in your season total.

All fees are billed up front.  No mid season invoices or costs.

JD’s Academy aims to keep costuming costs as low as possible for you, without losing the glamour and enchantment of dressing up!

JD’s Academy holds two on stage recitals at year-end for all team dancers.

Recreational Team

- when you join our Rec team your dancer will attend class once a week and perform at the studio's year end Recital.  We focus on physical and cognitive movement through age appropriate learning styles.  We have fun while not just learning dance steps but introduce necessary life skills.

There is always an option for those wishing to take lessons but not perform.  Just speak with Miss Jaimie.

Competition Team

-when you join our comp team dancers attend classes 1-4 times a week depending on level and classes enrolled.   Depending on age and dance style there may be mandatory classes.

Although the competition team involves more commitment and dedication than just taking a weekly class, the focus is still on learning while having fun.

Learning dance skills and Choreography at an accelerated rate. (competitive students begin performing in March while performance students perform in May)

Students are exposed to skills such as sportsmanship, situation and location adaptability, time management, decision making, team building and leadership skills, just to mention a few.

JD’s Academy can attend up to 4 local festivals a season, all within 200km of Stettler.

Additional Competition costs include entry fees determined by the competition directors and costume fees invoiced by Miss Jaimie at the season start.

Possible travel costs such as food, gas and accommodation are the responsibility of the individual dance parent or dancer.
